DIDDY made a FIRST time Brooklyn club appearance accompanied by friends to celebrate the Life of the Late and Great NOTORIOUS B.I.G. The who's who in Rap gathered for a performance at The Lab located in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn. Noted appearances from Rick Ross, Red Cafe, Fabolous, JadaKiss, Sheek Louch and Styles P of The LOX, Busta Rhymes and Cassie.

Sponsored by Ciroc Premium Vodka this event was brought to you by Empire and Showcase Entertainment who brings to you the weekly SNL party at BB Kings. DJ line up consists of DJ Magic, Mister Cee, DJ Young Chow, Steelie Bashment, and DJ Triple X from the Hot 97 Pit Bulls. DJ Ralph McDaniels of Hot 97 and Founder of Video Music BOX was also a large part of the event, he provided classic 90's footage of BIG which was shown on teleprompters through out the club.

Not only does he invest he also is a nightclub owner. He is a very powerful man who has established a monopoly on the industry as a whole through his growing business connections. His love life brings on more tribulations outside of the apparent hate he is already subjected to by his high status that his success had provided.

Malcolm XXX is a close friend and business partner to King. Although he is a flamboyant personality with a strong opinion for women, his loyalty to King and hard work in event industry has coined him as the backbone of the company as well as a key player to the successful events.

Kathryn is smart, and classy. Her friends influence this young elementary school teacher social life by introducing her to the club scene. Naïve and fresh she catches King’s eye.

Dee is a gold digging and extravagant club girl. She loves the finer things but has a dead end retail job (at a high-end store of course). She is introduced into a new way of making money through Anthony’s, her new boo, club-promoting opportunities.

A Night at Blue Magic

Exiting the club, I was shocked to see a woman screaming and acting a fool. At first, I thought she had one too many drinks but then I noticed she was wearing jean, sneakers and a hoodie so it was apparent she wasn’t in the club or any other venue that night.

“YOU BASTARD! I HATE YOU ERIC!” she screamed swinging a baseball bat in her hand. BANG, there went the windshield. Glass scattered everywhere. “LIAR!” BANG, there went the passenger side windows. “CHEATER!” CLINK. BANG, she dented the hood. The pavement glittered with microscopic crystals. An irate brown skin woman was destroying a top luxury car right in front of the club while bouncers and pedestrians watched in amazement. This woman really went in; I wondered who dared to scorn her. Then again, you don’t realize someone is crazy until you hit that nerve.

Broke Club Girls

ATTENTION Promoters, Event coordinators, VIPS , Socialites , Myspacers. Last week I was forwarded a message about club chicks titled the 31 Flavors of Nitelife: Are you a Broke Club Chicken? I was very appalled at the scenarios of what determines a "broke" club chick. I actually think it was a manifesto of HATERISM. Not because it offended me because I know who I am but because it classified every party girl who frequents the urban scene as broke.

Broke adj. Informal Bankrupt. Lack of Funds.

Now I am going to provide the REAL Blueprint for all and debunk these so called TRUTHS.

Now I agree that the URBAN party scene in NYC is at a all time low but there are more factors to which to take heed.

NYC Broke club chicks or Party Girls better referred to as CLUB GIRL or Urban Sociaite?

1. Socialites know it is tacky to expect just because you know a promoter you should automatically get COMP'D at the door esp if you weren't personally invited to attend by which I mean you are actually FRIENDS other than on Myspace. If the event is poppin they don't mind paying a cover to get in but if they happen to get there early it is definitely not because the FREE B4 but because they want to make the most of their nite in regards to networking and having a good time.

2. A True SOCIALITE will not sit at just anyone's table just because they are bottle poppers they have to be invited or know the person who is offering the liquor most likely the person is poppin bottles for a special occasion. Most times guys stress you rockin with them all nite just because they shared their liquor and who wants to be obliged to a stranger? Club girls at the end of the nite don't mind buying their OWN drink or even paying for their homegirl's too. But how can you network if you are impaired or enjoy yourself if you can't remember what you did the nite before.

3. Broke club chicks will wait in front of the cashier booth for 15-60 minutes until a promoter they recognize can give them clearance to get in for free. A Socialite will be recognized by staff and COMP'D automatically without a second glance.

4. If you have ONLY $40 in your bank account you shouldn't be at a club. A Club Girl will have enough cash for her cab, coat check, and other essentials and then have $100 extra for her "FUCK YOU" money in case her friends or significant other acts up at the end of the nite.

5. Broke club chicks will approach a promoter they never spoke to before but will make nice & friendly cause the promoter is producing a can't miss event now and they need to get in for free But Socialites will network to for future business ventures to make money.

6. A Club Girl's myspace public photo galleries only consist of party websites flicks because Myspace is for entertainment ONLY. Her private pics are meant for friends only or they keep their private life off of Myspace altogether.

7. Broke club chicks will jump off the line once the doorman says the "Guest list is closed" ladies. The admission is now $20. (They scatter faster than roaches in the light) I say true to that . . . But I never missed a party . . .

8. Club girls AND Socialites hook up with their friends at the local eatery after the club for part 2 of a good times. The best way to bond is over food at your favorite after hours spot.

9. HATE ALERT!!!! Broke club chicks will have a fucked up nasty hair style but will tell you its Afrocentric or NEO-style. (this one is unbelievably untrue . . . Hater!!!) A TRUE club girl has her own personal style and looks good regardless of the eccentricity.

10. Broke club chicks are still trying to snag athletes, entertainers , ballers, Top DJ's even after they sleep with them and then wonder why I am still alone and why is he not calling me back? (your not an investment broke club chick). If you give up the ass for nothing, what do you think you should expect back? NOTHING. A Socialite has to turn down a high frequency of the men including athletes, promoters and other socialites in the clubs because they are recognize as one of the last of the dying breeds of GOOD women.

P.S. ladies stop sleeping with security guards to get in the club for free also. (This was funnny hahaha)

11. Broke club chicks will hound, hassle & haggle down a promoter for a discount party ticket or a drink ticket which is just tacky. A club girl has her OWN $$$

12. Broke club chicks only voyage on the water is any boat ride party on the "Queen of Hearts". or the Staten Island ferry. LMFAO

13. Broke club chicks favorite color is black (black tights, black boots/pumps and a black top) cost overall is $15 and can be repeated a 1,000 times. A True club girl will be able to re-invent an outfit but RARELY repeats

14. HATE ALERT!!! Broke club chicks constantly hate on chicks who don't live in the club like they do and who makes more money then them. Club Girls look beyond the horizon for lucrative opportunities in and out of nitelife and appreciate people who posses the same ambitions.

15. Broke chicks PERIOD can tell you every single detail about any dude that spends money crazy in the club or has a hot whip. They know where he lives, who's his baby mama, social security # , when he gets paid and how to get his attention.

16. It is ALWAYS good to make friends in the club as well as EVERYWHERE who share the same ambition and drive as you. United we can accomplish a lot. "You are the company you keep"

17. Broke chicks always counts someone else's money and can live with they're parents until a man scoops them up. (this means never) A club girl as well as any functioning women should be able to balance her life as well as have her situation in order not allowing nitelife or any other form of recreation to provide as a deterrence. Everyone needs a LIFE check but don't blame it on the clubs.

18. Broke club chicks will take the train to a party and pray someone can give them a lift back home cause all they have is a metro card. A club girl will take whatever is convenience but most likey will pay for a cab to get to the club so she has enough time to BEAUTIFY.

19. HATE ALERT!!! Broke club chicks would say they are a model to get certain perks. (absolutely no urban model has any real money) No chick in the club has Naomi or Tyra money and real models don't hang in PLUMM. Celebrity and $$ are two different things. Give credit when credit is due . . .

20. Broke club chicks have the slowest motion when taking what little money they have out of there wallet. Lmao . . . A true club girl will pay for EVERYTHING just to avoid delay . . .

21. Broke club chicks at the end of the day can't offer anything to good guys but sex and drama. (fellas it is impossible to wife a chick from the club. The percentage is a 15% success rate) if she is in the club 2-3 times a week then she is not for you and the club is all she knows. Club Girls can range from regular party girls who enjoy a good time to socialites and networking bees. When engaging in any relationship you should have your guard up but don't discriminate.

22. Broke club chicks set they're calendar around club events. They title the parties "The Main event" of my life because they can't afford to club often.

23. Broke club chicks will ask a guy to buy a drink and then get mad at the guy because he didn't offer to give her cab fare and drinks for her girls. (can you believe that? Ignorant broads smh).

24. HATE ALERT!!! Broke club chicks use the sidekick/blackberry only to text each other about parties and plotting on the next dude to help they're broke ass out. (texts are never about making any money or anything uplifting/important) Blackberry, Sks, and other smart phones/MDA/PDA devices are used to conduct business and we all have them. EVERYONE knows that!!!

So I was wondering WHY I drink but never get a BUZZ

Apparently it has been revealed by the NY Post that some popular clubs in Nightlife were fined thousands of dollars for a number of discrepancies by the State Liquor Authority such as finding insects in the area they serve liquor including inside the bottles that contained liquor to not serving liquor in their proper container and altering the product.

Some of the venues listed in the article as sited for the unsanitary conditions included my favorite after-work spot Ultra as well as others that are popular amongst urban nightlife such as BLVD and Marquee. In relation to these particular clubs, the fine violations that were mentioned as well were not properly displaying their Liquor license and not having a proper cabaret license.

There are two violations I found highly interesting regarding Marquee whose staggering fines of $100,000 could have put them out of business in October 2008. They were fined for allowing a "disorderly" climate that led to fights in their club which in laymen terms refereed to the type of crowd to which they patron. The other was having non-registered bodyguards which was a big issue in the Immette St. Guillen murder which Daryl Littlejohn who was a bodyguard with a criminal history that was recently found guilty of killing her after meeting her one night while working at a NY bar.

Murders, safety concerns, NYS violations and watered down liquor, Nightlife is at an all time low could this get any worse?

To Live or Not To Live By? That is the QUESTION

I recently went to a lounge in NYC for a friend’s birthday. At some point in the night, I notice a chocolate PYT recklessly eyeballin’ me and then pointing me out to her friend. She maneuvers her way over and we dance. We talk for a minute before I let her float away. However, she doesn’t let my catch-and-release tactic deter her, as she continues to hover in my area. I could tell by her empty hand that she would have appreciated if I would have offered to buy her a drink.

Unfortunately for her, I’m not a SIMP who buys face time with women. I’m sure she wishes that I adhere to The Rules.

What are the rules you ask?

The Rules are a set of unspoken guidelines for a successful time in the club/party. With that said, I think these rules are bull****, save a selected few.

Check out this mostly bull**** list with my thoughts in bold

1. Fellas
The bouncer is working and you are out trying to have fun, just wait your turn, get in the club quietly and then act up. You won’t win a head to head with them - don’t bother. True, although some bouncers carry their own prejudices with them to work.

2. Fellas
Take a 20 out of your pocket - throw it on the ground and walk away - that is what you do when you buy a random girl a drink. Save a Jackson. Words to live by. Anyone can buy liquor, but not everyone can charm her.

3. Everyone
If a person in the club is dressed like they can jump in a fight and win - they probably would stay clear.

4. Ladies
If his car note is more than his rent/mortgage - stop talkin’. Are you really asking this type of question in the middle of getting your Eagle on? BULLSH**

5 Fellas
If her car note is half of her rent/mortgage, and she’s cute - get her number.

6. Ballers
If a bottle costs more than 5 times what it costs in the store you’re getting ripped. 5 times? You’re getting ripped regardless of the factor, so understand that you’re paying for the table and the attention a bottle gets you.

7. Ladies
If he is working while you are partying he is either going to be rich, is already rich - or is doomed to stay broke. Or maybe he has simply has different priorities?

8. Fellas
If the girl you’ve been buying drinks all night says she wants to be a model – have fun. TRUE INDEED

9. Everyone
If the ratio of women to men is under 1.5 to 1 - something is going to jump off - leave early.

10. Fellas
Big girls can move when they want to – the right song at the wrong time has left many a brother bruised and sore – stay clear. Big girls are0Asome of the most fun folks to party and dance with. Stop the hate!

11. Everyone
Just like concerts - unless you are the promoter, bouncer or staff, leave 30 minutes before the party ends, someone’s drunk and they are going to wrap up the party in their own way. CO-SIGN

12. Fellas

People LOVE to hold these prestigious titles such as WRITER, DESIGNER, MODEL, CEO, MOGUL etc. but really fail to live up to the description these titles convey. They reap all the benefits and accolades their so-called labels reflect without putting out anything WORTHY of the attention and/or praise.

First, I have to say it is so EASY to WOW the masses with bullshit. People become FAMOUS or POPULAR just because and we, THE MASSES, feed into it, in turn making these subjects even MORE popular when all they possess is beauty, charisma, or just a good idea and not even an overwhelming amount of TALENT, just mediocre.

One thing is these SUBJECTS market themselves really well and convince others to do so too by gaining the MASSES support and captivating their attention.

People should be rewarded for what they ACTUALLY DO and not just what they CLAIM to want to do or accomplish . . . Im just saying . . .

Sometimes I feel I am too overly praise for the things that I do. Although I am grateful for the people that encourage me with their positive words and support but sometimes I just wanna say “it’s just not that serious.” Not to come off as ARROGANT but as being humble because the things people admire is only because they are looking from the outside into what they perceive to be my life.

This blog was pretty much intended to call out all the fake and phony self-proclaimed people. I wanted to stifle the state of procrastination by encouraging them to STOP saying what they are going to do and START doing what GOD enabled them to do (or so they claim) but it ended up promoting and even BIGGER message.

Lesson of the day: Don’t believe the hype. It is YOU, the masses, who give people power so be careful with the things your attention may encourage it could make the NEXT person FAMOUS. The rest I will leave for another blog.

I been stressed out just with the personal issues of everyday life and I had to take a step back to focus on other things like a JOB. Still looking for a STEP UP (preferably a office day job) as well as expanding my clientele for my website, makeup, and writing services that I do offer.

I limited my partying (of course yall aint notice) but its a RECESSION everywhere especially in NIGHTLIFE. This feeling ain’t NEW, since December I have felt there’s nothing tantalizing out there about the lights that FLASH these days limiting my choice of venues and social crowds but I will STILL continue to SEARCH.

On another note, I do not believe in PUBLICLY removing yourself because the MASSES won’t leave you alone. That ain’t me.

Some people are just really mean and like to manipulate their higher advantage to bully you off the area but they in fact feel threatened by your presence.

I HATE people like that . . . I’m just saying

MOREOVER there have been situations and events that occurred in my life and I haven’t really elaborated on them or felt the need to really be vocal about it because I don’t give a fuck. Sorry for being so rash with the use of language but I don’t. ::shrugs shoulders:: LOL

But I will say when meeting new people and socializing with the MASSES you accumulate a large amount of ASSOCIATES. Some to whom you become close, then a select few you grow CLOSER to becoming BEST FRIENDS or so you may think until situations get STICKY.

To that I will say there will be decisions that you make helped determined by these KEY Words :

“We are cool but just NOT THAT COOL”

Lesson of the day: People are phony and may surround themselves by friends of CONVENIENCE. That’s life. People are stepping-stones and some people are just meant to be STEPPED on.

AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL returns to New York City on Saturday, April 11 to hold one final open call for Cycle 13. Same requirements as before fr Cycle 13, females age 18 to 27, of diverse backgrounds, shapes, sizes and with a height requirement of 5′7″ and under are eligible to audition.

Audition Rules and Guidelines:

1. No lining up overnight and no lining up prior to 6:00am. Registration will begin at 7:00am. These times may be amended at Producer’s discretion.

2. Proof of age is required to enter the line. Acceptable identification must include picture and birth date.

3. Colors of wristbands indicate when your scheduled audition time will be. If your scheduled audition time is several hours or more from the time that you receive your wristband, then we encourage you to leave and come back.

4. Only women applying should stand in line. If someone is just short of being 18, she can have one guardian with her. Please note that you must turn 18 by April 15, 2009 to audition.

5. Please make sure that you have everything you need to audition before you get into any line (for wristbands, etc.). You will only be allowed one bag that can fit comfortably on your lap inside the venue. This will be enforced by security.

6. No jumping in line or holding places in advance for others but it’s okay if you’re going to the restroom or getting food and water. You’re not guaranteed to be allowed back in line. Be courteous to others around you.

7. Casting staff will give special instructions for the disabled.

8. Once in the venue, no ins and outs.

9. Only one audition per open call - do not try again if you’ve been cut.

10. Casting staff wearing official ANTM gear outside the venue may ask you for information in advance but be careful who you talk to and avoid anyone trying to charge you anything to participate.

11. We reserve the right to change or add to these rules as needed.
